Administrative buyer

Diamond Point is a traditional family company that has been active in the jewelry industry since 1904. For more than a century we have selected the gems that are being worked on and we manufacture all our jewelry in our own studio. Diamond Point In all this time it has grown into one of the leading and inspiring Love Brands in the Netherlands and has the ambition to put the brand on the market even stronger. To further complete our missions, we are looking for an enthusiastic administrative assistant for our head office in Amstelveen.

• You buy jewelry in within established return requirements and you ensure a good range of mix in the collection tailored to customer and brand values;
• You are responsible for the work that emerges from after-sales
• You take the total responsibility for the assigned product groups from producer/supplier to the consumer and you independently manage this;
• You maintain contacts with suppliers (about the assortment, further cooperation options and identified irregularities) and continuously work on improving the commercial result.

• MBO/HBO commercial working and thinking level;
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience as a purchasing employee at a retail brand and/or retail organization;
• Preferably someone from the Amstelveen area;
• Affinity with the brand;
• Knowledge of MS Office;
• Command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
• Numerical and analytical;
• Good communication and social skills;
• Customer and result-oriented; 
• Highly developed organizational.
